I am a strong supporter of recognising the ARmenian genocide.... but it is 100% true that 60,000 Kurds were killed by Armenians in the post war violence.....
But we Kurds started it but stealing land from the Aremnians and Assyrians for that matter...

Not 60,000. It's 600,000. You forgot a trailing zero.

Plus, neither Kurds nor Armenians started it. It was the Ottoman Turks and Tzar-Russia. It was their "holy war".

Sure - I think most people would like to see that recognized. And as for the 600 000 thousands that died...

That is what happens in war - but I strongly reject the idea of a Kurdish genocide from the Armenian part - As Berxwedan is saying - the war between the Ottomans and then later the Kemalists and Russia can not be blamed on the Armenian people - they had no state or goverment of their own to organize such cruelty...

Condeming a whole people won't get you anywhere - especially not when it is a people that has lived side by side with Kurds for centuries.

And - no we didn't "steal land" from the Armenians or the Assyrians - Before the time of national borders we lived together on the same land. We were part of a greater culture which today has been cut into pieces - Armenians and Assyrians have always lived in all parts of Kurdistan and as you may have noticed Kurds have always lived in all areas of Assyria and Armenia ;)

Diri,

Kurds are living by Turks, Arabs, Persians and maybe a lot more people gor centuries... But, that does not mean they are good people. Maybe I am wrong that all Armenians are to blame... But, in rael life, all Armenians I have met are complete assholess.. Maybe it hjas a negative effect. But it is human nature..

Also, you hate Turks, Arabs, Persians and loce Armenians.. Armenians have much better relations with Arabs and Persians. So, if you love them because you hate Arabs that is a racist point of view and takes us nowhere...,

Lastly, in the WW1 and ww2 millions of people are killed... 2 million Algerians are annihilated by the French, millions of kurds are cleansed by British, millions of Polish are sent to exile... But nonody is talking about a Kurdish Genocide, Algerian Genocide or even a Polish Genocide... But, everybody talks about Armenian Genocide. Let me tell you something the say Armenian Genocide is accepted, the next thing would be blaming Kurds for their defense of their own land and not giving up to Armenian terrorists...

it was not arabs that did this attack it was a group of haywan kurds, Ansar is a kurdish terrorist group dopnt froget that, so why dont you crizitze your own people to while you do the same to turks arabs and persians.

diri you must feel unintelligent right now, you started that little "friendship" forum on here, now you know what kind of friendship you have.

MOSUL - YOU are unintelligent! Had you been smart you would know that a "normal" can't add FORUMS - that is only for the ADMIN to do... and also you must be feeling pretty unintelligent for not understanding the difference between A and B...

I don't hate ANY of the NATIONS... I dislike certain PEOPLE (e.g individuals) and HATE some... INDIVIDUALS...

Kurds have a LONG history - this history has been mixed with Arabs, Persians and Turks history - because we where IN THE CENTRAL MIDDLE EAST BEFORE ALL OF THEM!

We have NOTHING in common with Arabs and Turks but we do have certain similarities and shared culture/langauge/religion with the FARS... Not the current Persians...

There are Afghans, Arabs, etc in Ansar al-Islam. Ansar islam also haves Kurds, but they are jash, traitors, etc.

We also don't call village guards in North Kurdistan Kurds..
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.
