I have corresponded with Kurdish leaders and as yet NONE can offer any solution

The main problem is that many Kurdish leaders, are actually, and shamefully AGAINST Kurdish unity and independence

Whereas the VAST MAJORITY of the Kurdish population, from all parts of Kurdistan, want an Independent Kurdistan

Many THOUSANDS of Kurds have died fighting for Independence

Kurds are being let down by their leaders

Kurds need a new leader, or leaders, who will unite them

Over 70 years ago Qazi Muhammad said:

For the love of God, come, and stop being each others enemies.

Be as one and have each others' back in the face of an unfair and ruthless enemy

Don't sell yourselves cheap to the enemy.

Our enemies only want you as long as it benefits their own purposes.

The enemy will never feel compassion for you.

The enemies of the Kurds are many, they are tyrannic, ruthless and without any conscious.

The success for any people is their oneness, unity and support of their whole nation.

Any nation that does not have oneness and unity will forever be under his enemies' rule.

You as Kurds are no less than other free nations, on the contrary you are in many ways more ready than other nations that freed themselves from oppression.

But those who freed themselves had unity amongst them.

For you to be free you have to stop fighting among yourselves, stop being jealous of each other, stop selling yourself to the enemy.

Only then will you be free and free your nation.

The problems along with the solution, were in Qazi Muhammad's speech more than 70 years ago

Especially the part stating:

Our enemies only want you as long as it benefits their own purposes.

The enemy will never feel compassion for you

The solution is also there:

Stop being jealous of each other

Stop selling yourself to the enemy

unity and support of their whole nation

The media is fickle

Blood sells newspapers and subscriptions to media sites

The bigger the conflict the happier the media is

At this moment in time, the Trump - Erdogan - Western Kurdistan pending conflict is big news

I do not remember seeing such worldwide coverage on any subject before

Sadly most of the media refer to Western Kurdistan under an assortment of different names making it extremely confusing for the average man-in-the-street

Almost none of the media give mention to any background information

Such as:

Western Kurdistan is part of Kurdistan. The land of the Kurds.

The traditional Kurdish homeland divided against the wishes of the Kurdish population

The years of slaughter, destruction and suppression meted out by Turkey on Kurds of Northern Kurdistan, who remain imprisoned within Turkish borders

Next week the mass media will find something else to focus it's attention on

English saying:

"Strike while the iron is hot"

Act now while Kurds are HOT NEWS

Close the coffee shops - turn off the TVs

Go out into the streets and protest

Show some pride and Kurdish UNITY

Did YOU ever stop to think that within Turkey's proposed 20 mile zone lie some of the richest oilfields in Syria

The vast majority of the areas oilfields are within Western Kurdistan

By destroying Kurdish control along the border, Turkey will effectively prevent cross-border contact and trade between Northern and Western Kurdistan

It may also lead to a complete loss of Kurdish control in the entire region as Arabs and Turks fight for control of Kurdish oilfields

The SDF agreed to allow Turkey access to part of Western Kurdistan enabling local people to return to their homes in that area

The SDF withdrew from some areas along the border

The SDF themselves destroyed their fortifications

Allowing Turkish invasion forces easy access

How many fighters do they have
What part will they play in Syria
They hate both Kurds and Turks

YPG/PKK;

Are the YPG connected to the PKK
Very probably
YPG needed PKK training and support
Without PKK, YPG could not have fought ISIS
Thousands of YPG/PKK died fighting ISIS

PKK;

PKK emerged to support oppressed Kurds
PKK are fighting for Kurdish freedom
They should be the army of North Kurdistan
As Peshmerga are the army of South Kurdistan
Whatever their name they stopped ISIS

That is exactly where Kurds are now

The conflict between Syrian Arabs and the Kurds is one of long standing

Almost all of the Syrian oilfields are within Western Kurdistan

Syria removed Kurds living along part of the Turkish Syrian border and gave their land to Arabs creating an Arab Belt to separate Western Kurdistan from Northern Kurdistan

President Assad has vowed to retake every inch of territory from the Kurds

Now we come to ISIS

ISIS is definitely connected to the Turkish government

20 years ago, we were warned Turkey was supporting jihadists

During recent years, we have witnessed Turkey turn from a Secular State into a Muslim country

A Sunni Muslim State

As ISIS wants a Sunni Muslim State it should move into Turkey with it's constant Mosque building and increasing Islamic conservatism

We have seen the horrors of ISIS

The terror inflected onto the innocent, peace loving Yazidis

We are aware that the entire world has closed it's ears to the long suffering Yazidis

As the world has to Kurds in places such Kobani and the many other places destroyed jointly by ISIS and the Coalition

Nor should we ever forget those killed intentionally by ISIS and those classed as collateral damage by the Coalition

Nothing was done to protect the Kurds when Turkey first invaded Syria

It should be of no surprise to anyone, that Turks are enlarging their invasion forces

So now Kurds have had to beg the hated Syrian government for help

Will Syria want control of the Kurdish oilfields in return for their support

Will Turkey step back or release ISIS from the camps

What will happen to the PYG/PKK fighters, many of whom come from Turkey

Will the PKK return to Turkey???

Is this really what is behind Erdogan's behaviour???

After years of mistreating Kurds, I expect Erdogan is worried at the prospect of THOUSANDS of battle hardened, well trained and highly experienced Kurdish fighters returning to support fellow Kurds in North Kurdistan

Confused, I know that I am:

All the news about the US moving out of Syria giving Turkey the green light to move in is incorrect

We all know that Turkey had already invaded parts of Western Kurdistan (North Syria)

The US knew full well that Turkey would continue it's invasion

The truth about the current situation

is that we do not know the truth

What we have now is a propaganda war that has very little to do with the reality of the situation

It is NOT a great day for Kurds

US want Kurds to give up their homes in places like Kobani

Give up their oilfields

Allow Turkish invaders to place a 20 mile Arab belt on Kurdish land

This is VERY BAD

The US has NO RIGHT to give Kurdish land to Turkey
