Turkish FM Davutoglu expressed his support of Kurdish parties' decision to join the Syrian umbrella opposition group, Syrian National Coalition, during a meeting on Wednesday with representatives from the Syrian Kurdish National Council.
The meeting was held closed to the press and was attended by Kurdish Democratic Party Leader Abulhakim Bashar, General Secretary of the Syrian Kurdish Unity Party Ibrahim Bro and Kurdish Democratic Party Deputy Chairman Mustafa Sino, according to diplomatic sources.
On the other hand, the Syrian Kurdish Supreme Council (SKSC) reportedly asked for a meeting with officials from the Turkish Foreign Ministry, and a SKSC delegation was expected to meet Turkish officials on Thursday.
