French FM wants to mobilize to save Kobanî

Translation :
'The black flags of Daesh terrorists are now near to Kobanî', a Kurdish city on the border btw Turkey and Syria. Unfortunately nothing until now had could stopped the assault of Daesh against that city, neither the proximity of Turkish forces, which are only far from few kilometers and which shelter since few days 200 000 refugees, nor the plane of the American-Arab coalition : their air strikes could not stop the terrorist progression so it is a tragedy now in Kobanî, and all of us we have to react.

France made a determined choice to intervene militarily in Iraq : 1/ to send arms to Kurds threatened by the same disaster 2/ to involve our own air force with Iraqi air forces.

For Kobanî we are mobilizing : this morning I call the Turkish FM and this afternoon the French president will call the Turkish president to talk with him about the reactions that impose to us the emergency of the situation. We are in close contacts with USA which led and will leave strikes in this region in the north of Syria.

So we strengthen our own cooperation with the armed forces which fight Daesh ion the ground. Many things are playing in Kobanî and we have to do EVERYTHING to stop and expel Daesh."
