The head of the Kirkuk Investment Board has announced their permission to a contracting company for building the first residential complex in Hawija.
Falah Bazaz, the head of the Kirkuk Investment Board stated in a press conference on Sunday, May 11, “The board has granted permission to the Bilal real estate company for their proposed residential complex in Hawija which includes 1,200 units and will be built over an area of 260 acres.”
“The project in one of the major projects in the province, and it’s budgeted at approximately 80 million US dollars. After their completion, the units will be sold to the people of Hawija,” Bazaz added.
The deputy governor of Kirkuk Rakan Saeed stated, “The Kirkuk administration is insistent in attracting the investing companies to the province in an attempt to decrease the accommodation issues as well as the unemployment among the people of the province.”
