The Khak Sports Club showed their dominance in karate over the other clubs of Kirkuk and clinched the title of Kirkuk Karate Tournament for the clubs.
The tournament was held on Sunday, July 7 and was supervised by the Kirkuk Karate Union and the Kirkuk branch of the Kurdistan Olympic Committee with the participation of the Kirkuk clubs Khak, Solavi Nwe, Sawra and Shorija with Khak SC clinching the title.
The head of Kirkuk Karate Union, Ali Hussein told Kirkuk Now “The aim of the tournament was the selection of two teams to represent Kirkuk in the Iraq Karate Tournament which will be held at the end of July.”
Khak and Solavi Nwe came in the first and second positions respectively and are qualified to represent Kirkuk in the scheduled Iraq Karate Tournament.
