In Interview on the Syrian news channel 17/04/2013
Bashar al-Assad, Accused Syrian Kurdish parties of opportunism
Describing them that they are outbidding on the Kurdish issue by using specific slogans for their personal interests

And that the Kurds are not a temporary guests in Syria, but the most of the Kurds in Syria are Syrian nationalists

He pointed out that Syria hasn't used the persecution against the Kurds them, and not massacred has as happened with them since the disintegration of the Ottoman Empire.
And our relationship with the Kurds is always a good relationship, even with the Kurdish parties, which were struggling for their rights in Turkey
We know from our Kurdish friends forces that they don't trust in Ardogan
my question is - after using chemical weapons against Kurds in /shex maqsud- aleppo/ why pyd( the Apoci) is still standing with the regime.? don't tell me it is a political plan too>

I know that the most important war to win is the war of words :D

Using slogans for their interests is an excellent idea and extremely good marketing ploy :ymapplause:

Does assad really think that Kurds have forgotten all the years when, born and bought up in Syria, most of them were non-people without even the basic right of a legally registered marriage X(

Or that it is only recently that many Kurds have been granted Syrian citizenship. Most lightly granted in order to quell the growing among the Kurds and their increasing demands for independence.

All lies for the media. But we must remember that the media spread those lies far and wide :ymsick:

VERY TRUE

Probably not true and just another media ploy. Put Assad in front of a camera and he will say anything to cause mistrust between the different Kurdish factions X(
