"If the draft would be returned to the Parliament and the change of the current political system to a parliamentary system, then Kurdistan will continue for the coming fifty years under the mercy of the current ruling parties because they enjoy widespread parliamentary majority and they decide to elect the President of the region, thus the chances of democratic competition will be zero ".

"In the previous presidential elections that took place in direct vote of people manner, there was a chance to compete, and a number of competitors in various areas of Kurdistan appeared in Kefri, Koysanjaq and Erbil, each taking their share of voting".
"This is the real democracy that gives equal opportunities to all citizens without exception, and we are in favor of this democracy formula, because the presidency is not preserved on a party or a particular party alliance, it is a position that interest all members of the public," he added.
