DUHOK, Kurdistan region 'Iraq',— Fire broke out late Sunday night in the city park of Duhok, resulted in burning of 30 game cars at the children part as well as other damages, while the competent authorities are in the process of searching for the cause of the fire.
“A fire broke out about 10 p.m. on Tuesday night in Duhok's city park,” The media official of the Directorate of Civil Defense in Duhok, Niaz Fareq said.
“The fire resulted in burning about 30 game cars which is valued at about 70 thousand $,www.ekurd.net as well as other damages in the city park, without recording any casualties”.
“The Fire crews arrived at the scene and managed to put out the fire after an hour and a half”.
“The cause of the fire remained unknown and there is a specialized team looking on it,” he added.
Noteworthy is that a massive fire erupted in one of Duhok's bazar (market) last May that resulted in burning more than 100 commercial shops.
