Today, December 10, 2013, the political parties of Khanaqin met to discuss the possibility of creating a coalition between the Kurdish political parties. The meeting was held in PUK`s 8th Central Office in Khanaqin.
After the meeting, in a press conference, the gathered political parties, numbering eight, announced that they reached an agreement to participate as one list for the election in order to work in harmony, hoping to achieve national aims and the good of the Kurdish people in Khanaqin.
Noteworthy, in the meeting, it was also emphasized that Change Movement (Gorran) has decided not to join in for the coalition, and it intends to participate alone for the election.
The coalition list of Kurds that includes 8 political parties is named Kurdistan Peace List.
