Regarding the forming of the new cabinet of the KRG, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan`s (PUK) negotiating delegation is going to meet and discuss the subject with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP). This would be the third meeting between the two parties regarding the new KRG cabinet.
Hakm Qadr Hama Jan, Member of PUK`s Negotiations Delegation, told Kurdistani New (new Kurdistan) newspaper that as PUK we think we are worthy of Deputy PM, President of Parliament, and two other Minister posts as part of our election merits; as for the name of the two ministries, he informed that they did not assign any ministries yet.
PM Nechirvan Barzani, on another hand, said in a meeting with KDP`s round three MPs that Kurdistan is facing a new era and there will be new challenges to overcome, he, for this reason, hoped that every party in Kurdistan Region will work hand in hand to overcome the challenges and to serve people of Kurdistan Region in various aspects.
