The fighting has gone on far too long - there should be a NO-FLY zone over the Kurdish area

All the different Kurdish factions should be working together - their own different ideas are not important - the unity of the Kurdish population is what should be the most important - not the so-called often self appointed leaders egos X(

Somebody is going to held a referendum among the Kurds in Syria - and those who have fled to other countries - finally the Kurds themselves will have a say in what they REALLY want :ymapplause:

Hopefully the world leaders will hear you Anthea. This coming conference in Geneva will be the place and time for them to act and do the right thing for once. But I am very pessimistic regarding the Kurdish issue, in the end nobody is going to help, not in a Bi-Polar world. Lets face it, it's only 50 Kurds, plus a few friends, and the land and mountains of the homeland, and with some help from God (for giving us these things), and that's all we need :)

Geneva 2 will probably resolve nothing. They could organize 5 or 10 Geneva without result. The next P 5+1 would be more important. If Iran improve its relations with USA it could stop to support financially Syria (and then Hezbollah). Without Iranian money and Hezbollah fighters, Assad is weak.

Russia has changing its position also : standing against a Kurdish voice in Geneva 2. PYD will realize soon that Russia nor Iran are ready to support their 'autonomy in Rojava'.

Iran will never stop supporting Hezbollah and Syrian regime, no matter how good relations become with the US or whoever. Those are Irans top priority, Iran will go to war with the world to defend both of them.

Same goes withbRisdya and Iran; Russia's must important ally Iran, Russia will whatever it takes to defend Irans interests. People that have fanatasies if Russia helping the Kurds are dilusional. .

I would very much like to know what happened to the former Kurdish leaders - they worked so hard but have been ignored in recent years - now everybody wants to be God and tell the Kurdish population what they want - sadly the Kurdish population are being manipulated yet again X(

Good article and writer.
Geneva II is already staring to look like a joke. And if the KNC attend and don't make sine serious demands and try to include PYD, then I will lose all respect for them.
