People Denfense’s Forces (YPG) have liberated the area of Til Berek following an operation against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant armed group.
According to the information received the YPG conducted an operation to rescue the area on 21 February. The al-Qaeda linked groups have said to have suffered heavy losses.
YPG press officer Rêdûr Xelîl said that the operation had been going on from 12pm on Friday till 5am on Saturday. He added that many small villages have been liberated by the YPG in the operation.
