PUK Official stresses the increasing necessity for Unity

Adil Murad, secretary of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan's Central Council stressed in a latter which was sent to Kosrat Rasul Ali and Dr. Barham Salih, the increasing need for unity within the party.

The latter came in response for a memorandum sent from two of PUK's leaders, Kosrat Rasul and Barham Salih which contained the situation within the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. Adil Murad had expressed his agreement with the memorandum. Stressing the need for unity to face the upcoming elections in 30-4-2014, he had also called to schedule a date for the fourth conference after the elections.

Murad had promised to discuss the issues which were mentioned in the memorandum after the elections and to unify their efforts to exile the corrupted figures as the Kurds had give their trust and faith within the PUK party.

"If we weren't unified, we would face another setback in the upcoming elections" Murad added "A statement by the PUK leaders should be issued to support PUK's candidates for the election".
