On the demand of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) jailed leader Abdullah Ocalan an Islamic congress is due to be held in the southeastern Kurdish city of Diyarbakir, Diyarbakir Haber said.
Democratic Islam Congress is planned for May 10 and 11 and the schedule of the gathering was released to media in three languages of Kurdish, Arabic and Turkish.
war and peace in Islam, Islam and violence, Islam and colonialism, woman in Quran, the oppressed and the oppressor in Islam, woman in Islam and the peace negotiations between the PKK and Ankara government are the topic to be discussed in the two-day gathering.
Researchers and scholars from different countries have received invitations to take part in the congress.

erDOGan is playing some really strange games through his puppet Ocalan - while increasing Turkish army occupation of Kurdish land - and people are just sitting back allowing Ocalan to be made use of :shock:

I think it is disgusting and disrespectful the way PKK leaders are allowing this manipulation by the Turkish regime to take place

No one else has mentioned it so I feel that I must

Back when Ocalan was Ocalan and dedicated to the Kurdish cause - he had no interest in Islam and was himself studying the Zoroastrian beliefs and encouraging Kurds to do the same - it is erDOGan who has an interest in Islam - it is obviously erDOGan who is behind this congress
