Pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party's (BDP) candidates Sirri Sakik and Mehmet Amin Ozkan won elections in eastern Turkish cities of Agri and Nursin respectively.
In Agri, there was also some tension around some of the schools where people cast their votes on March 30. Sakik, who is also a deputy from the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), the sister party of the BDP, had won the local election in Agri by 10 votes ahead of the ruling Justice and Development (AKP) candidate Hasan Arslan on March 30, CNNturk reported.
After a complaint from Arslan, the election was held for a second time. And Sakik won 51 percents of votes.
Ozkan won 1255 votes more than the AKP candidate in the city.

Agri is half Kurdish half Azeri. So I guess that the number of votes for HDP / AKP gives more or less the estimation of the ethnic sharing of the place.
