Since that Obama called Erdogan before, I wonder what he has yelled to convince Turkey. But if Erdogan thinks a bit, it is better even for himself, to have mixed forces (YPG/Pesh) than only YPG.

The people of Kobani are most certainly suffering from lack of food and water

The article also stated:

One official said that while the results of the mission were still being assessed, it appeared that “the vast majority” of the supplies reached the intended Kurdish fighters.

I hope that this does not mean what I think it means:

that some of the supplies could have fallen into the hands of the Islamic State

As yet there has been no such confirmation that Erdogan is finally going to allow the peshmerga safe passage through Turkey

The KRG requested such a passage weeks ago - let us hope that the report in Rudaw is correct

If Pesh entered in Kobanî it means that PYD has to accept a sharing of power. They are probably more reluctant than Turkey concerning Peshmerga's help.

Seems to me that most people are more interested in their own power than they are in saving lives

'If you can not beat them, join them'. This is really what happened to Turkey. They tried to control PYD but after the drop to Kobani, Turkey didn't have anything left to influence Rojawa Kurds. So they had to go with the crowd. Just yesterday Turkey was calling PYD as terrorists.

Turkey is losing on both plans : they did not get rid of PYD on its border, and it has still ISIS inside its own lands. Bad strategy.
