Thousand Resident Units Build in Erbil for Displaced Arabs  X(

Erbil Governor and Emirates Red Crescent are building 1000 homes for refugee Arabs near Erbil and nationalists warn against changing demography of Kurdistan region.

Kurdish Yazidis who are staying in refugee camps in a bad situation, complained against Erbil governor’s decision to build homes only for the Arabs.

Since ISIS offensives started on parts of Syria and Iraq, Million of Yazidi and Syrian Kurds and Arab refugees fled in to Kurdistan region and they have been getting supports from Kurdistan government and citizens with only little help from the international organizations.

It could be for a safety reason to shelter and gather Arabs in one place, easy to watch, where all families are stuck. Spreading roofless refugees would be an ideal ground for ISIS infiltration. But of course many Yezidis or Christian refugees or Western Kurds refugees who stay in camps could find it bitter.

At least KRG does not pay for it… but they should ask money to Emirates for other refugees.
