The best way to free Ocalan: PLEASE add YOUR ideas

Simple really:

Refuse to listen to him or take any notice of him as long as he remains locked up

That way if Turkey wants to continue using him to manipulate Kurds they would have no choice other than to set him free

I have noticed that not very many people have even bothered viewing this post on ways to free Ocalan

Does that mean he is not as popular as some people would have us believe

Ocalan may be old and uninformed - he is most certainly serving the Turkish cause (I expect most people would do the same after all those years in prison) but even at his worst he was a far better man than the murdering Mandela

Sometimes representatives of the PKK have acted on their behalf and done terrible things without the knowledge or consent of the central committee

Many of the people following the PKK genuinely fought for independence - many of them died fighting for Kurdish independence - friends of mine were among those who died which is why I personally will NEVER forgive Ocalan for selling out to Turkey

Love him or hate him - Ocalan and his uni friends once stood up for Kurdish independence at a time when anything overtly Kurdish was condemned by the Turkish government - Kurds were tortured - killed - many just disappeared never to be heard of again

Marxism was wrong and bound to fail - many other things were wrong - but Ocalan was still better than Mandela

Until Ocalan is free and off Turkish soil away from Turkish control - nobody should have anything to do with him

Remember Mandela was used by the South African government in just the same way
