PostAuthor: Anthea » Tue Jan 13, 2015 10:50 pm

These are the number one concerns of British voters, according to a new poll for ITV News.

ComRes is tracking the top concerns of British voters for the broadcaster and its most recent results - collected in January 2015 - shows that the NHS has overtaken immigration as the public’s top concern for the first time they began collecting data, in July 2014.

Half of those interviewed said the health service was among their top three most important election issues, up 11 per cent from December 2014. In contrast, concern about immigration was down by 3 per cent from last month.

In the poll 2,056 people were asked to rank their top three election issues in order. ComRes also found around one in three respondents blamed the coalition government for the current state of the NHS, while one in five blamed Labour and 12 per cent blamed managers in individual hospitals.
