Europe migrant crisis: Hungary 'will arrest illegal migrants' from next week

Hungary's PM has warned that people who cross the country's border illegally will be arrested from next week.

Viktor Orban said migrants entering Hungary in their thousands in the past weeks had "rebelled" against his police force, and order had to be restored.

Aid workers have been telling of "abysmal" conditions for refugees at a camp on the Hungarian-Serbian border.

Video footage has emerged of people being thrown bags of food at the camp in the town of Roszke.

Hungary has struggled to cope with some 150,000 migrants that have crossed its borders so far this year, en route from Greece to countries in northern and western Europe.

There have been tensions between the authorities and migrants, at border areas and key railway stations.

What is an 'illegal migrant' and what is a 'legal' migrant ? that's the point. All refugees running away from war and persecution are legal, they are not migrant, they are asylum seekers.

Being Syrian or Erythrean citizen, for example, gives the right to these people to ask asylum. Authomatically.

In the case of Syrian refugees I see only one solution:

STOP THE FIGHTING IN SYRIA

Prevent weapons being sold to ISIS and other jihadist groups

Modern technology and satellite imagery will show exactly how the weapons are getting into Syria

Giving homes to Syrian refugees is an emotional response NOT a logical one

Give homes to refugees from Syria and many more will try to come

Many more children will drown on the way here

People smugglers will be extremely rich and happy X(

And as the conflict gets worse in Syria ALMOST ALL of the normal decent Syrian/Kurdish people will leave the country

Soon there will be nobody left inside Syria other than assorted jihadist groups fighting for overall control

Emptying out Syria and handing it to the jihadists should NOT be an option

It is certainly better to stop fight in Syria but until it happens I am sure that people prefer to flee than to die. Kurds lived the same time during Saddam's Anfal. Many refugees came back later.

The big difference between Saddam's Anfal and Syria's Islamic State is that Saddam was mostly about power in his own country

The Islamic State is using Syria as a base from which to spread into other countries

Everyone knows that eventually some positive action has to be taken to stop the growth of the Islamic State and other jahidist groups

The longer people wait the harder it will become to get rid of them

I personally think that the world has waited far too long and doubt Syria will ever truly recover

The Islamic State has to be stopped and it has to be stopped

NOW

A friend went with her family to leave the horrors of the refugee camps in Turkey

She got to the border but tuned back to the camp due to the large numbers of her friends who have drowned trying to reach safety

Nobody seems to be mentioning how many people have actually died trying to escape

Money should be spent to improve the lives of those stuck in refugee camps

The people in camps have already escaped from the horrors of Syria and at least in the camps they have support of families and friends

They still have their language and their culture

Relocating these poor people - is wrong they have suffered more than enough - do not tear them away from what little they have left

Keep people safe in the camps where they have the comfort of those they know and love - do not tear their families apart

And DESTROY the jihadists

We must also remember that the Syrian refugees are not the only people forced to leave their homes due to the Islamic State:

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) announced in a press release Friday that 3,182,736 Iraqis, including 530,456 families, have been identified as internally displaced from the start of 2015 through August 27.

The figure was calculated using the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) methodology and data collected by UN humanitarian teams.

An estimated 87 percent of the internally displaced persons (IDPs) are believed to be from the provinces of Anbar (42 percent), Nineveh (32 percent) and Salahadin (13 percent).

Since April 1, 2015, over half a million individuals were displaced from Anbar province following the ISIS sack of Ramadi. Among those, over 225,000 were displaced within the province.

We have to remember that those Iraqis classed as internally displaced persons - have suffered just as much as those who were forced to flee from Syria - NEVER FORGET THE YEZIDIS

All these poor people have lost family members, friends, homes, businesses, their dreams and hopes for the future, they have lost absolutely everything, all they have left in the world is the love and support of their remaining family, friends and fellow community members

What Europeans tend to forget is that most of the Syrians/Kurds/Iraqis/Yezidis are used to living in extended family units with close proximity to other relations in supportive communities - and they really need the support of others we should not divide their families even further
