Historically it was a Christian nation but Christianity went out the window when the Kaiser was forced to abdicate after the the First World War- the Kaiser was a strong proponent of traditional [Protestant] Christianity and I'm pretty sure he'd be aghast at what Germany has become.

Funny to see USA so fond of a Jewish-Muslim practice, though saint Paul was strongly opposed to spread it among new converts.

I am 100% against the circumcision of children
It is wrong to take away a child's right to decide - and wrong to indoctrinate children into religion
Children become adults - and adults have the right to make up their own minds
If it is right to circumcise innocent children and indoctrinate them into the Islamic way of life - does that mean it is also right for fundamentalist Muslims to indoctrinate their children into their ultra-strict Islamic beliefs with an intolerance of other views
Leave the children alone and when they reach adulthood allow them to make their own INFORMED decisions
