Well as you know the US was founded on a land that belonged to the native americans or like that ignorant "lost travelers" referred to:
Indians.

Over 90% of their original population has been killed, either by bullets, walking along the trail of tears or by diseases that were used volontarely or unvolontarely as weapons.

Two days ago we all celebrated that holliday in which apparently, our native brothers and sisters had shared their meal and resources with the white mens...who soon after that killed all of them of course.

So I just wanted to remind everyone that while we talk about occupied Kurdistan, there are other lands that are being occupied too...and becasue of this holliday, I wanted us to remember our nati ve brothers and sisters.

Also, we did slaughter about 40 millions turkeys for the preparation of the holliday...

Chichalok, I also did enjoyed the turkey...I just wanted us to have a little thought...

That is part of the rhetoric I don't understand... When does the PKK stop talking one second about Apo and focus on the devestation in Kurdistan by the Turks, Persians and Arabs? How about - does it stop for a second and appeal to our nation as ONE? Or does it appeal to us as "apoci"? Cause I am not Apoci - and no Barzanî or Telebanî supporter... I am glad to hear that Barzanî says "We will have no choice but to declare independence if Shia and Sunni start a civil war"... But I am not glad to hear Apo say "there is no Kurdistan - we are Turks - and we are free in Turkey"... Do you understand my rhetoric? I am only for those who want to build Kurdistan... Not those who oppose it...

I'm sorry...but have I missed something here?

Are you sure that you are responding to the right thread or post Diri...

I thought I was speaking about Native Americans....where does the pkk comes into that?

When does the PKK stop talking one second about Apo and focus on the devestation in Kurdistan by the Turks, Persians and Arabs

Is it because I used the word Turkey in the postings so, here we go and we can go back to a pkk subject...
Hey Diri, turkey is not the country....it is the bird...you know the one we eat...we call it also shami in turkurdish...or Dinde in french...

I'm really sorry but please answer me...cuz I'm lost...

You too Piling....

Actually - it depends on who makes the turkey... My mom usualy makes a dry turkey - but lately she has gotten good at it... And the trick is: put some alluminium foil - to cover ALL of the turkey in - and you should open it up every hafl hour to pour water/sause from the turkey itself - which by then has dripped off the turkey...

And you should have lots of tomatos, onnion, pepper and other vegetable stuffed inside the turkey - for more aroma...

Yeah but in France we eat a lot of other delicious things for Christmas and New Year : goose, chapon (a big eunuch chicken), poularde (a big fat chicken), hind, wild boar, pjeasant (oh I'am hungry) then turkey is not my favorite meal (ppl put often chestnut in it and it makes it dryer).

But I notice your recipe, thanks :)

in the us they have turkey bags in which you can cook the turkey.
It keeps all the moisture inside and then the last 30minute you simply remove the bag so that it darken/golden the turkey...
but I do miss the yummy foods in france...except the wild boar which I never had...pork...

Wild pork is quite good, but pork is the most delicious meal... When I stay too long on ME, I am fed up with sheep and goat and I dream of SAUCISSON !

Wine+ pork : I will never convert to islam...

and REAL cheese... i will never live in America
