I would say yes, except for the people very high on top. Any muslim right off the bat is a slave of allah, this is a crucial aspect of Islam(submission to allah) Even the Qu'ran Mohammad says he is but a slave to allah. Now for the non religious people out there, I would say that yes you are a slave to something. Money, work, wife, husband, police men, etc. We are a slave to their morality, and we are often dependent on some of these, such as money. Anyone who is addicted to any thing, be it chemical or action is a slave to their addiction... Honestly I am dependent on money, I am addicted to all sorts of chemicals,(although I am intoxicant free), I am also dependent on other people to a certain degree. but yea, honestly we are probably a slave to something or someone. Unless you are the top .05% who have all the money, and make and create the laws... I am not one of them :'(

actually I think the only people whom are slave, are slaves to themself ONLY, or better say slave to their desiers..

A slave in the most simple of terms is someone who is forced to stay in any permanent or temporary residence. In much harsh terms it implies servatude and much more harsh conditions we often depict of slavery.

All American Military Personnel are slaves of the country. I kid you not.

All human beings are slaves of this planet and the space around it by conditions set forth limiting our ability to leave.

We are not allowed to go to Mars in person nor to any other destination. Even our visit to the moon was short lasted.
