Re Japan:

After Japan's surrender at the end of WW 2, Japan signed some form of agreement (sorry cannot remember details) preventing them from doing arms research or something along those lines. Which meant that while other countries were investing in armament Japan spent it's resources on non-aggressive technology

I do NOT think that America has done any favours to the world by increasing the use of guns worldwide

No I am not American. I am a Kurd born in the South of S. Kurdistan Capital, Hawler. I admit I like American first because they liberated Iraq, which benefited South Kurdistan mainly on a large scale. I remember on 1960s we, my family, were almost starving and living in a mud house. But now since the liberation of Iraq now each of my siblings, I think they are 8 , has a house and a job or a business with a good standard of living. This is like a dream when I look back to 1960s. I remember my father was always praying, my step mothers were always praying. They prayed for years and years begging God to help them, but no help ever came to them. But when Americans arrived they, my family, like a flip of fingers leaped forward and left poverty behind.

Although I like Americans but when discuss some thing I try to be neutral without bias.

On the basis of a simple common sense, I say if it was not for British Control of India, more people would have died for a simple reason because Britons used to use money to buy any one stood against them. They controlled all over India quickly simply first by using money. They used sword as a last resort.

Americans benefited Japanese twice; first when they forced them to end their isolation and second when, after 1 WW, forced them to reform their constitution to end the priviledge of the upper Japanese class and keep away from arming themselves. Consequently Japan was the real winner of 2WW. They went to war against America to get far east market. But because of Americans they got the world market after 2 WW.

I think that you will find a far higher percentage of the liberating forces came from UK, than from America. UK provided about one third of the forces that America did and America is a great deal more than three times the size of UK

If they had not attacked America in WW 2, America would not have joined in and half the world would be speaking German now Thinking about it perhaps that would not be a bad idea since I prefer German Rock music to almost any other music, apart from classical (especially violin) and Bhangra, I do so absolutely LOVE Bhangra

No you wouldn't have been able to enjoy yourself because you are not a German, you have the blood of East and West by half half, which doesn't make you a pure Aryan. In addition that you wouldn't have the same freedom, you have now. Either you would have been a part of the state or against it, in which case you had to go underground. You would have been in a different state of mind and you wouldn't have time to enjoy music or develop a test for it unless you were from an upper class.

America didn't go to war against Germany because Japanese went to war against it. America went to war because of the pressures from UK and Russia and German submarine attacks on US shipping. Japan attacked Pearl Harbour on 7th December 1941. American President ordered US navy to attack German Shipping on 11th September 1941. Americans never expected Japan would go to war against them. That is way they got the shock of their life, Pearl Harbour.

Good point but not relevant because Americans were leading and British were following as far as the South, Basra. Americans had to march to all over Iraq apart from Kurdistan part of it. In addition to that the idea of liberating Iraq was an American idea, which cost them billions of dollars and over a thousand American Soldiers gave their life for it.

Good point but not relevant because Americans were leading and British were following as far as the South, Basra. Americans had to march to all over Iraq apart from Kurdistan part of it. In addition to that the idea of liberating Iraq was an American idea, which cost them billions of dollars and over a thousand American Soldiers gave their life for it.

It was a joint plan with America providing most of the lies

Americans also killed more innocent people in Iraq

The only reason Iraq was attacked was because of the oil. If any country had had any humanity they would have gone in and removed Saddam immediately following Halabja

You should also love America because they were really responsible for Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour. Japanese attacked Pearl Harbour because of an old feud with America when America forced Japan to open for foreign trade and end its isolation. This was a humiliation for the Samoray warrior class whose descendants were in full control of Japan by 2 WW. They were emotionally driven and were not aware of the consequences. They wanted to humiliate America the same way America humiliated them, in their view, when forced them to end their isolation over a hundred year before.

I dont have a problem with being thankful to the countries that helped Kurds, but putting them before God is sick in the head. And not once did I hear you even mention the Peshmerga, thats who you should thank, because America only helped the Kurds because the Peshmerga are reliable. And nobody could have ever killed all the Kurds. You are from SK but you dont even sound like it. And remember this, "States don't have friends, they have interests."

Londoner talks like that we must thank America our existence, that they do everthing for us because they like us. But the relationship between America and south Kurdistan today is based on benefits and not on friendship, there is no friendship in politics. And America more harmed the Kurds as to help them and they still harm the Kurds in the other parts of Kurdistan.

As long as we have Kurds like Londoner who sell his ass for free, the americans will never support a independent Kurdistan, because Americas policy, especially for the middel east, is to look who would make more trouble and they know, that Turks and Arabs would do it, so they support them, because they konw that Kurds are very silent even if they do not much for them.

But you should not make so much trouble like Iran or you will be a enemy of America, but you should also not sell your ass for free like Londoner. The best is a good relationship with some pressure, that is how policy works.

To get respect, the Kurds must ask America why they supported our enemies in the past and still do it, why they recognize the right of independence of others, but not that from the Kurds.

American Politicians are elected people to do two jobs only, which are to protect Americans and to protect American interest. Every cent they spent is accounted for and must have been used for the purpose of protecting Americans and their interest. They are politicians and they play politics, which is driven only by and for interests. In modern politics, there isn't such thing as friendship or moral values or idealism or obligations. Every thing can change any time without expectation.

During the cold war, Americans used any retard to stand against Eastern Block. They supported Juntas of Central and South America. They helped Baath Party to come to power on 1963 in Iraq and trained Saddam Hussein to become the first man in Iraq. They helped and supported Kemalist Turks and Turkish Army to prevent a neutral or a pro-estern front government to come to power in Turkey.

When the cold war ended, all previous people, whom Americans supported from Saddam Hussein to retarded kemalist Turks, became liabilities to America. Well, Americans are also humans and all humans have conscious and moral values. So Americans had to disassociate itself from them, as in the case of retraded Kemalist Turks, or to neutralise them as in the case of Saddam Hussein.

The end of the cold war was bless from the sky for most people especially Kurds. Central and South Americans got rid of their Juntas and built democratic governments. In their new policy in Middle East region Americans knew Kurds are trust worthy and |Kurds looking for help from any one any where. So both sides took advantage of each other and Kurds got a lot more they were hopping for. So all the blessings we have now in Kurdistan came because of the end of cold war, which brought American support for Kurds. So world political change helped Kurds, not their religion and God.
