In the aftermath of a massive tornado that killed at least 91 people on the outskirts of Oklahoma City, rescue workers are racing against time to find missing people, some of them children trapped under the rubble of their schools.

Monday’s tornado, which had wind speeds up to 200 mph, directed much of its ferocity on the town of Moore, much of which suffered total devastation. The Oklahoma tornado is the worst to hit the United States since a May 22, 2011 tornado struck Joplin, Missouri, killing at least 158 people and injuring 1,100.

You would need a under ground bomb bunker to get proper protection from a beast like that one. But they need to start thinking more about safety when they design schools, they are unsafe and due to global warming, we will keep seeing more and more extreme weather conditions.
