Ocalan was part of a small group of friends, who after seeing the way that fellow Kurds were suffering, formed a group of what was intended to be political activists.

Ocalan became the spokesperson for the PKK because he was charismatic and a good communicator.

The PKK realised that as a political party their existence would be short-lived - all Kurdish political parties in Turkey were short-lived - they also realised that they had to take some dramatic action to prove that they were serious.

Other Kurds attempted to gain control of the PKK and in the early days there was a lot of in-fighting - the PKK survived because they were fighting for a just cause and Kurds soon started to flock to the PKK in their thousands to fight for an Independent Kurdistan.

Whatever people say about the things that the PKK have done - it is nothing in comparison to the atrocities that the Turkish state has carried out against Kurds.

The Kurds were fighting for the right to control their traditional homeland - not so the murderous Mandela and the ANC - Mandel's roots come from a tiny area within South Africa - much of South Africa was traditionally inhabited by the Bush People, many of whom were wiped out by the murdering black tribes moving into South Africa form further north. The Bush People were a kind caring gentle peaceful race of small built brown-skinned people who stood no chance against the savage blacks from the north.

I agree that the apartheid system was grossly unfair but in no way did it compare with the barbarism that Mandela initiated.

The PKK do NOT rape and kill innocent women and children as Mandel's people did.

Whereas the PKK did it's best to educate the people - the ANC just went on the rampage destroying everything and everyone in it's path.

Perhaps to a certain extent some of the facts have been hidden since Mandela received his Nobel Peace Prize - I cannot help but feel that if people thought Mandela deserving of the Peace Prize they would probably have given Hitler one as well.

Mandela invented necklacing and for that alone he deserved to die in the most slow painful way possible - he should have been given a necklace.

Come on Anthea, can you prove that Nelson Mandela did any of that. And that rumor about necklacing started because his wife supposedly Winnie sort of endorsed it in a speech when he was in jail.

And regarding the bush men. Aren't the Zulu people from South Africa, and they were not small little harmless bush men by any stretch of the imagination.

You sound like those white extremists from S. Africa, how do cone up all these crazy things, lol.

However I agree with you that or it is a dangerous place, but you can't blame Mandela for that.

However I agree with you that or it is a dangerous place, but you can't blame Mandela for that.

The Zulu people are descended from another tribe whose roots are much further north, they have probably only been in South Africa about 700 years - as opposed to Kurds whose very roots go back many thousands of years.

Zulus grew to be the most powerful tribe because they are probably the most brutal and savage of all the black African tribes.

As for proving what Mandela did - I REMEMBER it - I was very young and had several friends who were involved in the anti-apartheid movement - some of whom actually went to South Africa - those who went did not stay long and the reports and photos of torture, rape and murder committed by Zulu savages on mostly innocent men, women, children and BABIES were horrendous

The Zulus were killing other black people not just fighting against white people. When they attacked farms they raped, tortured and murdered everyone they could find, white, black or brown, they just seemed to kill for fun.

Compare this to the PKK whose only targets have been military personal who have invaded Kurdish land and are threatening or attacking Kurds, and other people who are destroying Kurds.

The PKK are saints compared to the ANC savages.

Ocalan and the other leaders of the PKK were kind and gentle in comparison to the vile murdering inhuman creature Mandela.

When apartheid ended there was very little improvement in the lives of ordinary black people, but the Zulu leaders were paying themselves vast amounts of money to live in their enormous palaces.

Even now the Zulus oppress all the other tribes in South Africa

I was just telling you that your wild claims about Mandela and the poor little bush men that you say he and his people slaughtered did not make any sense, you just admitted that the Zulus were there atleast 700 years, Mandela is only 94 years old. You must be an aperthied supporter, and that makes sense since you are also an anti Islamist and imperialist.

Oh ok, but they are nkt compairable, but since he is a Kurd I would have to say Ocalan,

Nelson Mandeal never betrayed nor surrendered, though his conditions of life in prison were very bad (not like Öcalan). ANC could have had violent actions but it is nuts if we compare with apartheid.

In any cases, dictatorship and oppression don't make people GOOD. It is the same in Iraq. Many say that Saddam was better for Iraq than the current regime, because Iraq is a bloody chaos. But that chaos is also Saddam's inheritance : you don't educate people to freedom and you mistreat them, so they behave as savages.

But the main point is that Mandela ACHIEVED his goal,while Öcalan failed. So the winner is the best.

Now that will become in S. Africa is not his matter, he is old and retreated from politics and soon will leave life. Current S. Africa is not his work, new generations are responsible of it.
