Anthea: Genuine asylum seeks never complain about where they are housed - they are just happy to be alive - time countries threw out all the bogus asylum and helped the Kurdish refugees from Syria and others in a similar situation

The 1951 Refugee Convention establishing UNHCR spells out that a refugee is someone who "owing to a well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group or political opinion, is outside the country of his nationality, and is unable to, or owing to such fear, is unwilling to avail himself of the protection of that country."

NOT someone who wants to work in UK or other country and feels safe enough to return to their country of origin for a holiday every year - as soon as a person is safe enough to return to their country of origin - they no longer need to refugee to another country - they should lose the right to be a refugee and those genuine refugees could then receive the help they so desperately need
