
The government of Iraq has recently signed a contract of buying 25 aircrafts (T-50IQ) from the government of South Korea.

The contract has been signed by the PM of Iraq and the Minister of Industry of South Korea.
While signing the contract, both sides have emphasized on strengthening their relations not only in military but also in other aspects.
Nuri al-Maliki, PM of Iraq, has said that Iraq will use these aircrafts to better enhance its military in standing against terrorism. He has also said that Iraq will work hand in hand with South Korea and also other countries in standing against terrorism.
He has further added that this contract will open doors between Iraq and South Korea to better improve their political and economic relations.
