Watch this heart-warming story about a Goat, a Burro, and their incredible friendship
Last week Animal Place, a Californian animal shelter for farm animals, took in a 10 year old goat named Mr G. He had lived with a burro for a decade on the property of a woman who could barely care for herself, let alone the dozens of dogs she hoarded and three barnyard animals.
Mr G was separated from the burro, named Jellybean, when they were confiscated, with each sent to a different animal sanctuary.
Unfortunately, the staff at Animal Place didn’t realize the close bond between Mr G and Jellybean until the former refused to eat and spent his days lying in a corner of his stall, barely lifting his head in a depressed state.
Mr G was inconsolable. After four days of starving himself, drastic actions were taken to help Mr. G, and Animal Place staff arranged to take Jellybean home…
