How did Muslims take control of the Kaaba?

What gives Muslims the right to ban all but Muslims from entering into the area surrounding the Kaaba?

Perhaps this should have been heeded as an early sign that Muslims intended to take what did not belong to them ;)

Wahabit sect did that, at the end of 18th century. Unfortunately, Wahabism is the most backward movement of Islam but the wealthiest because of oil.

Yeah. Saudi tribe converted to wahhabism and controlled all the Arab tribes and then Mecca and Medina, where they destroy many shrines and tombs of islamic figures. They even wanted to destroy Muhammad's tomb but Ottoman empire intervened then and rebuilt all of them.

But Ottoman empire collapsed, and then Saudi State was founded. In 1994, a fatwa stated that holy monuments are pagans and in 20 years, more than 500 of them were destroyed.

ISIS invents nothing.
