Could YOU live 60 euros a day

PostAuthor: Anthea » Sat Jul 11, 2015 11:52 am

As Greeks are now limited to cash withdrawals of 60 euros a day from their banks does that mean they only get to spend 60 euros a day?

I doubt that I draw 60 euros a week in cash from bank - everything in England seems to done by card nowadays

Someone paid me some money they owed me so I actually paid for my shopping in cash - the strange looks people gave me when I pulled out a fistful of notes - as though they had forgotten what money looked like :)) =)) :))

If Greeks are only allowed to spend 60 euros a day this is going to have a negative effect on all the retail business and must surely make the situation much worse

Imagine not being able to buy new clothes

No new handbags or shoes

Amazon would go bankrupt without me  :)) =)) :ymdevil:

60 euro=£43.14, which is not bad for one person. Yes you can live on 60 euros, more than enough.
If you are one of those big spenders, you have to tighten your belt.

Granted one could live on £43.14 a day for basic food cleaning/household supplies - clothing :D

What about other payments:

Mortgage repayments

Utilities such as gas - electric - telephone etc

Electrical goods

White goods

Furniture

Bedding

Other household essentials

And the new smart-phones/computers

Car and vans

Farm vehicle and lorries

Fall in retail shops and restaurants sales will lead of the laying off of staff and a further downward spiral

What about people working from home who require home/office supplies/stationary

Fall in imports

Fall in tourism

What happens to people wishing to buy a house

Legal fee

Medical fees

The list goes on and leads to a total collapes in the economy

Only a minority falls in this category. They have to tighten their belt. The rest should be ok with 60 euors.

That's the best part of a cat. I could never had a dog without a garden.
