Peace is always better for Kurds. Turkish bases don't make any differences. But Kurds need a lot of weapons to prove that turkey will never be able to defeat them.
The was no real peace process - the majority of the clauses were those requested by the EU so that Turkey could further it' application
Anyone going through all the clauses would have noticed many of the similarities
Also Turkey needed a way to suppress Kurds so that it could continue with it's destruction of Hasankeyf
The record of the atrocities meted out by the Turkish government is extremely long and in my mind totally unforgivable
The nation of Kurdistan and the interests of the Kurdish people are far more important than the aspirations of any ruler
including Ocalan and SelahattinKurds want and deserve a country of their own and several of my friends died fighting for independence
NOT so that Kurds could remain forever living as third class citizen under control of the savage Turkish invaders
