Hi all,

just would like to share this story from not too far from where I live. A Kurdish Syrian woman and her two children were found killed in their home. Their bodies were found in the freezer. The woman, a 27 year old refugee from Syria and her two daughters, have been missing for a couple of days when her brother contacted the police. In the woman´s home they made the horrible discovery

The husband is missing, he is thought to have escaped across the border to Germany and is probably in Turkey or back in Syria.

Just a sad, sad story. One can´t help to feel so sorry for this woman and the poor children. :( What an awful story!

Such domestic crimes happened everywhere. But refugees have often lived traumatic events, and their mental health might be unstable. Forced exile in a foreign country is a trauma also.

But as so long as investigations don't say what happened, we can only make supposition.

A very terrible and sad story.

A few days ago, in Germany, a court sentenced a Syrian refugee for 15 years for throwing his three children from the window on the first floor. This was because his wife no longer submitting to his cruelty like they were in Syria.

I have no sympathy for those who blame circumstances for their diminished responsibility

Murder is murder

Remember both male and female refugees undergo a horrendous amount of stress - often the females have suffered more than their male counterparts BUT it is the men who are violent

I think Londoner is probably correct - often Muslim men bully and mistreat their wives - once relocated to an area where his previous behavior is unacceptable and females become aware that they do not have to tolerate being bullied - some men, bought up to believe women are there to wait on their husbands, are unable to behave in a civilized manner X(
