When I tried to visit ARA News all I saw was a black screen with the following words written in bright yellow in the centre of the screen

Does anyone know what is happening?

ARA News has been offline for at least 12 hours to my knowledge - could be a lot longer

But even having a news site offline for 12 hours is unusual

Perhaps it is only having problems in the UK

Are people in other countries still able to see ARA News ???

The same problem from Kurdistan and Iraq, then.

The question is

Does ARA News website have technical problems

or

Was it taken down by Turkey or some other unfriendly country

Still no ARA News

It appears to be based in Holland so should be safe

It runs a Linux operating system so should be secure

ARA News was last seen on 2 September

Does anyone know what has happened to it???

I still have NO news as to what has happened to ARA News - even it's twitter account has vanished

Possibly the main web site but that should not effected the twitter account

It was a politically active site in as much as their reporters were actually on the ground with the fighters in Iraq and Syria - unlike most reporters who are mostly in front of screens or get out of helicopters in safe areas for a 2 minute report, then vanish back to safety
