Hi all, in this thread I'd like to discuss the different Kurdish diasporas, I'll post some pieces about the different ones across the world, but that's for later.
If any of you in the mean time has something to contribute, or has a question, ask away.

I'll begin with the estimates of the most notable Kurdish diasporas:
Austria: 50 000 - 60 000
Belgium: ~50 000
Central Asia: 40 000 - 50 000
France: 100 000 - 120 000
Germany: 600 000 - 650 000
U.K.: ~250 000
U.S.A.: 15 000 - 60 000
Lebanon: 60 000 - 90 000
the Netherlands: 70 000 - 80 000
Sweden: 100 000 - 150 000
Switzerland: ~60 000

I don't know how accurate these are, some had greatly varying estimates.

not very accurate. In Germany you got at least 3 Mio peeps with "Turkish citizenship ~900000 of them are of Kurdish origin. Than you got some 150000 from West, East and South Kurdistan.
