Islam contradict modern life and that is the problem , so religious people have no choice but to prosecute everyone around them in order to recognized as true Muslims .

Moder life that is filled with mass-consumerism and materialism. All people care about now is sex, money and power. The word 'Honour' now is a myth, people just do whatever they want regardless of consequence or effect. You may think it is right, but I don't. I'm not specifically talking about islam or religon, just in general today what modern life is. I actually think were going backwards not fowards just general humanity.

i think islam as a principle is really a good religion except the violent part , but it has actually indirectly casued us kurds damage to our struggle , as those who practice islam around us use it as a tool to suppress our freedom and right of statehood . bcoz islam was sent to put some brain into arabs and today it is them who are mostly muslims thus the religion itself is not practiced as it should be but has become a mere of own personal interests , turks arabs and persians use islam to suppress our nation while they enjoy full rights , how is this allowed in islam !!! . if islam was sent to EU it would have been practiced % and the whole world would have been in peace .

I think it all come down to personal choices that we make and all the above can be avoided . You think consumerism , materialism , free sex countries and individualism is bad ? .I want you to compare that to:

-forcing a 9 years old girl to marry 50 years old man !
-conquering other nations in the name of ISLAM by killing all their men and enslaving all the women (سبيا الحرب) which you can do whatever you please with them .
-cutting someone's hand for stealing a loaf of bread
-forcing heavy taxes on none muslims and destroying and looting their temples and churches .
-destroying or altering every single cultural symble such as language , statues , Gods and even building (Taj Mahal ,Blue Mosque)

I could go on for days writing heval , but I do not think that even google have enough space on their servers .

I agree they are all bad things, but they still don't justify what is going on todayin this world. I mean your telling me indivualism is a good thing? Liberalism is a good thing? What has it achieved? Hmm lets see, war war war. People in capitalist societies are seen as profit, they are seen as consumers, they are basically slaves. You might think your free, but they've got your ass kak Talsor. People have lost way to the old ways, forget religon for a minute, I'm talking about people, because that is what we are. ( I could also give an endless list of things modern society has done, but I don't think it will justify and argument that can't be justified, regardless of where you stand)

No regarding the horrible things you stated, do I do that? Does my dad do that? Do Kurdish muslims do that? Of course not. I agree however you should never be forced to submit to a religon or any organisation for that matter of fact un-willingly.
