I want to marry a woman who is not Kurdish (I am Kurdish) and I am trying to convince my parents. I was just wondering if there are any Kurdish youtube lectures that explain the religious reasoning for supporting inter-racial marriage. If possible by Malla Omer Kocher.

I'm Malla Omer Koche and you can tell your parent I said it is OK .

I know this may sound like a stupid question, but why do you want to ,arry her?

Your parents aren't against the marriage because they're Muslim (after all Islam is a religion which allows marriage between people of all nations as long as they Muslim) they're against it because of their strong cultural and social pride. Chances are you can quote religious scripture until you are blue in the face and it won't make any difference at all: they just don't want to be pointed out as the parents whose child didn't marry a Kurd.

I can understand the situation with your parents ..
Maybe they are - as many people - are dependent on the social opinions, they are afraid of justice by the relatives, etc.
The only thing I can advice - is to explain feelings about the fact that your heart choses not a nation, your heart has chosen a girl !
