Help

PostAuthor: Balci » Tue Apr 10, 2007 7:59 pm

well, I thought, since i don't really got too much connection to my Kurdish family in these days, there is rather hard for me to learn Kurdish, I knew some words before, but those are forgotten a long time ago.

As a Kurdish nationalist, its rather strange not knowing its own language, so if anyone could help linking me some learning resources which could at least teach me basic Kurdish, i would have appreciated it, any help would been great

thanks

ps. does Kurdish only use Latin alphabet, or other signs ? got enough foreign signs from Japanese already, kinda hard remembering 2500 signs + an eventual Kurdish/Arabic one

The first Kurdish alphabet was Latin - so it's also the future Kurdish alphabet...

Forget the fact that some Kurds write in Arabic - like Southern and Eastern Kurdistan - because they are soon switching to Latin...

The Kurdish alphabet is VERY easy! In Zimanê Kurdî section, you will find a post (the one which is a sticky/announcment) at the top which explains the alphabet :)
