Hollywood’s Sharon Stone has visited Halabja and Kirkuk, as she was accompanied by popular Kurdish director Bahman Ghobadi.

According to the Rudaw website, Ghobadi’s manager announced “American actress Sharon Stone, accompanied by Bahman Ghobadi, arrived in Kurdistan and visited both Halabja and Kirkuk on Wednesday, July 10,” without adding any further details.
Sharon Stone was born in 1958 and started het acting career in 1980, gaining fame with the erotic thriller Basic Instinct in 1992. She has received an Academy Award nomination and won a Golden Globe for her role in Casino.
