Emirates Red Crescent helps in Kurdistan

Erbil: The UAE Consulate General in Erbil, Kurdistan-Iraq has completed its Ramadan charity programmes sponsored by the UAE charity and humanitarian bodies. Ramadan programmes concluded with the distribution of Zakat (Alms) donated by the UAE Red Crescent to the needy Syrian families. Over 900 people at the Syrian refugee camps benefited from the programme. The Government of Kurdistan Region thanked the UAE for its initiatives and humanitarian projects provided to the Syrian people. Rashid Mohammad Al Mansouri, UAE Consul General in Erbil thanked the Government of Kurdistan for facilitating the work of the UAE charity and humanitarian bodies to discharge their work successfully there.
