Turkey: Legal Kurdish Party demonstrates support to Syrian K

Istanbul. Around 200 members of the legal Kurdish Party and parliamentary represented Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) manifested their support to Kurds in Syria at the central Galatasaray Square in Istanbul, IHA agency announced.

The demonstration was participated by MPs from the Peace and Democracy Party Sebahat Tundzhel and Aila Akat Ata. The police took extreme security measures and did not allow demonstrators to reach Taksim Square therefore BDP’s members organized sitting protest and made statements to the media.
