The entire Kurdish people are now against Massoud Barzani, Jalal Talabani, Nawshirwan Mustafa, and their ongoing campaign to divide the Kurds.

Over the last fifty years, the Kurdish leadership in the Kurdistan Regional Government (the KRG in the southern region of Kurdistan, otherwise known as the Kurdish region under Iraqi Arab occupation) has fostered power struggles amongst the various Kurdish political factions .

But the PKK (Kurdistan Worker's Party) and the PYD and PJAK (their subsidiaries in Syria and Iran) have all overcome that obstacle by allowing other Kurdish political parties freedom under the umbrella of one Kurdish military force, especially in the war imposed on Kurds by Islamic terrorists and the Syrian Baathist government (1). YPG, the Kurdish military force holed up in northern Syria between these two murderous regimes, is fighting for Kurdish survival in the Syrian war.

Amidst the carnage and intense pressure of the emergency, the Kurds have become one for the first time since the fall of the great Median (ancient Kurdish empire), around the turn of the fifth century BCE. They have united to fight both the occupiers of the traditional lands and territories that they have never relinquished, and those who would divide and divert them from the goal of regaining it.

The bastion of Kurdish unity is now established, the keys to opening it are freedom of religion, political choice and association, and a democratic system of government based on a just and fair constitution incorporating the rule of law.

The KCK (including the PKK, PYD, PJAK, PCDK, and others) must offer the Kurdish people freedom of choice and a constitution similar to or better than the US constitution, which came from the Kurdish forefather, Cyrus the Great, Emperor of the Median Empire and General Harpagos of Median Empire.

We have witnessed the rise to power of Massoud Barzani and Jalal Talabani to power in south Kurdistan, with the help of Israel and the US forces in Iraq. And we have seen how Massoud Barzani, Jalal Talabani, Nawshirwan Mustafa, and Islamist, socialist, and other Kurdish political parties have used Kurdish people against one another in the KRG area to steal the Kurdish people's oil money. The corruption is well known by every Kurd in that part of the country, but the Iraqi Kurdish leadership's use of oil money to buy Kurds from Turkey, Syria, and Iran to fight the united Kurdish people's front might not be so obvious.

Additionally the Arab, Turkish, and Persian wars on the Kurdish people have driven them to unite, while the KCK leadership has finally proven to the Kurdish people that it can lead a united nation. Let's hope it will listen to reason and continue with the policy of offering the type of constitution suggested above, so the Kurds will be united and make progress as a nation, like the people of the USA have in the last 200 years.
