I had no idea that these signs still existed in the Kurdish regions
Are they still prevalent throughout Turkey?
Surely before Kurds worry about mother-tongue language - and long before they worry about the release of Ocalan - they should be protesting and demand the removal of all such signs
These signs are the ultimate proof of the low esteem in which the Turkish government views Kurds - and irrefutable proof that Turkey has absolutely NO intention of granting Kurds any real rights of self-government
