Cizîre Canton on diplomatic tour

PostAuthor: Shirko » Wed Feb 12, 2014 9:32 pm

ANF - Cizîre 12.02.2014 11:00:55
One of the three cantons in West Kurdistan, Cizîre (Jazeera) Canton, has launched a diplomatic offensive. The canton's Foreign Minister and an accompanying delegation are on an official visit to South Kurdistan. The delegation comprises Foreign Minister Salih Gedo, assistants Emine Ose and Şemiran Şamul and advisors Fadıl Misa and Polat Can. Cizîre Canton declared autonomy on 21 January and has three official languages.

The delegation arrived at the Titanic hotel in Suleymaniyah on the evening of 11 February. It was met by a group including Xarip Hisso from the West Kurdistan Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) and Sulaymaniyah representative of the Left Democratic Party of Syria, Fetullah Huseyni.

It is reported that this first foreign visit by the Foreign Minister of the Cizîre Canton is taking place on the invitation of parties and movements in South Kurdistan that support the democratic autonomous administrations. The delegation is expected to have a series of meetings during its week-long visit, talking to political parties, and depending on conditions may also visit Hewler (Erbil).

After meeting the PUK's Public Relations representatives

Mahmut Haci Salih, Xalid Xıdır Ali and Ömer Haci Ahmet on Tuesday evening, it is reported that the first destination for the delegation today is the PUK's political office.

I have ti be perfectly honest - I do NOT like the way Kurds in Syria are being separated into little sections (cantons)

I think it is wrong to keep dividing Kurds

I also think it is extremely stupid to name a country 'WEST'

The Syrian occupied Kurdish area should always be referred to as Western Kurdistan

Kurds have to win the propaganda war

this is what is actually making it all happen, these are Kurdish states.

I also think it is extremely stupid to name a country 'WEST'

we already discussed this, but you just jump that mental hurdle, it's not an officially a country with a name. That's why it makes sense to have names for the Kurdish Cantons and they will be connected, at least if anything by secure highways in some area. As you ca see, the regin is an especially Sytia is too unstable now.
The Syrian occupied Kurdish area should always be referred to as Western Kurdistan

Kurds have to win the propaganda war

Ok but what's that have to do with this topic?

Western Kurdistan implies that there is more than one Kurdistan which is wrong . West Kurdistan (Rojavi Kurdistan )is more appropriate in my view .

PKK and PYD have their own agendas that are totally differant from the norm that you and I know it and understand it ,that is why they hardly use the word Kurdistan or Kurdistan flags . They are not a uniting force ,but a dividing one when it comes to Kurdistan and frankly they are confusing and using our nation on purpose with their democratic autonomy , democratic contract ,cantons and so on.They say one thing and do something else and their entire agenda seems to pour into one stream which is called Ocalan who openly say that he is against a Kurdish state , will use PKK to serve the Turkish state and even go as far as admitting that he is responsible for the death of many PKK commanders whom were oppossed to his line of policy towards turkey . Like Apoces say ( jian be Serok nabet ),so no Ocalan means no Kurdistan ,thus all their resources are dedicated to him and him only .

Thousands of years before there was Ocalan there were Kurds

After Ocalan there will be no Kurds in Turkey

Ocalan has stated many times that he wants all the people in Turkey to live together as brothers - he also stated he does not want a Kurdish state

Kurds have to decide for themselves if they want to be Turks - if so all those people who died for independence die for nothing X(

Heval, I basically just support all Kurdsih struggles. Somebody or everybody is lying or stretching the truth, but I would have to give both sides credit for helping to awaken the Kurdish nation.. When it comes to serving Turkish interests, then I would have to point out that SK is also guility of that too.

So for me, just a guy with Kurdish ancestory amongs the diaspora that doesn't even speak Kurdish, it doesn't really matter who wins the internal Kurdish struggle, and as long as there is a winner, then I'm happy.

Kak Talsor,
So now I'm supposed to believe that the PYD is a dividing force working against unity?

KRG officials will not meet Salih Gado: official
The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) officials will not hold any meetings with Salih Gado, the Foreign Minister of Syria Kurdish Cezire Canton, and KRG official quoted by Rudaw as saying.
KRG spokesman, Safin Dezaee, stated the northern Iraqi region does not recognize Kurdish cantons in northern Syria and would not meet officials of the autonomous administrations.
Heading a high-level delegation, Gado arrived in Sulaymaniya yesterday. The visit was conducted at the official request of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK).
Gado is due to meet Iraqi officials in Baghdad and make a visit to Ankara.
He will asked Baghdad and Ankara to open their official border pass ways to Syrian Kurds.
