Islamic congress to be held in Diyarbakir on Ocalan’s demand

On the demand of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) jailed leader Abdullah Ocalan an Islamic congress is due to be held in the southeastern Kurdish city of Diyarbakir, Diyarbakir Haber said.
Democratic Islam Congress is planned for May 10 and 11 and the schedule of the gathering was released to media in three languages of Kurdish, Arabic and Turkish.

Researchers and scholars from different countries have received invitations to take part in the congress.

Back when Ocalan was Ocalan and dedicated to the Kurdish cause - he had no interest in Islam and was himself studying the Zoroastrian beliefs and encouraging Kurds to do the same - it is erDOGan who has an interest in Islam - it is obviously erDOGan who is behind this congress
