ERBIL-Hewlêr, Kurdistan region 'Iraq',— A picture of a lion being transported by a pickup truck without any guards from Duhok to Erbil [Hewlêr], capital city of the Kurdistan region, created disputes in the social media.
The picture was posted by Kurdish journalist Kawa Shekh Abdulla and has gone viral on many social media sites.
Kawa commentated on Facebook, “who cares about the safety of the citizens?”
Referring to the government's careless attitude when catastrophic events happen, Kawa sarcastically adds “If anything happened, they would form a “committee to investigate it”.
“This is an innocent lion” one of Kawa's friends jokingly responds on his post.
“This lion is like a chicken. You don't need to be afraid” and “This is really comical. Our lions are not like real lions” other friends add.
