Garlic is probably the best vegetable for health, no flue resists to it, and it is good for many other part of bodies. The problem is that when you eat one, you have the taste in mouth during the next 48 h.

I can't imagine a tasty juicy lamb without garlic :ymdevil:

I love onions, also (not for breakfast).

I avoid to eat garlic if I should have a social or sentimental meeting, but often I think about eating garlic BECAUSE I have a meeting that annoys me X(

Sunday lunch in France is a ceremony. Today, it was a raclette :

Normally I should be hungry after Christmas, not before.

If someone is a heavy garlic user then washing their mouth out is not enough - the smell lingers round for a long time

Kissing someone who has recently eaten garlic - is not a pleasant experience :ymsick:

In my case so far I haven't had any problems. Yesterday I hugged and kissed six people and was looking at the face of each one to read any clue. But none off them showed any annoyance, especially my grand children, who are very sensitive. In my case the smell get neutralised inside a cocktail of oats, nuts, cinnamon, extra vergin olive oil and honey, after which I eat fresh fruit. After that I was my mouth.

Chewing leaves of fresh mint is also a wonderful way to have a good beat and it is full of good effect on health (digestion).

Do not waste your energy and you breath kissing men

Blow at spiders :o)

Seriously - this is the time of year in which spiders come out of the cold - if you place mint near cracks around doors and windows spiders will not come in

Spiders run away from the smell of mint :D

I notice that you are happy to celebrate every religious festival - whether Jewish - Christian or Muslim - just as long as there is food involved :ymdevil:

I remember in Iraq they were doing something different called: 'Hereesa', for Ashura Day. It is a sweet nutritious porridge like food with a colour similar to dates colour.
