MSF evacuation

The head of the Doctors Without Borders mission in occupied Palestine's al-Quds, Stefan Goriely, told Al Mayadeen that the mission decided to evacuate its staff from Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, due to the gravity of the situation which leaves the organization incapable of guaranteeing their security

The Israeli occupation's bombardment has reached the backyard of Al-Aqsa Hospital, which, according to Goriely, became "the only hospital operating in the Central Governorate."

On her part, Gemma Connell, a spokesperson for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), told the BBC that the withdrawal of aid groups from Al-Aqsa Hospital has spread panic while the International Rescue Committee (IRC) noted that leaflets dropped by the IOF have designated the areas surrounding the hospital as "red zone"
Connel reiterated what Goreily had formerly stressed that Al-Aqsa became "the single remaining hospital in the middle area of Gaza" where a "major offensive is underway."

Moreover, Connel highlighted that the current situation at the hospital remains dire as "just a single doctor" continues "working in the emergency room" with "only two surgeons left responding to hundreds of needs in that hospital."

Connel added, "You have so many casualties coming in every single hour who are in desperate need of life-saving support."

WHO has no data on over 600 evacuated Al-Aqsa patients, staff in Gaza

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated that the World Health Organization (WHO) lacks information regarding the location of medical personnel and more than 600 evacuated patients from Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

"[The WHO] has received troubling reports of increasing hostilities and ongoing evacuation orders near the vital Al-Aqsa Hospital in central Gaza, which according to the facility's director forced over 600 patients and most health workers to leave. Their locations are not currently known," Tedros said on X on Sunday
The head of WHO also mentioned that the United Nations' health agency had to cancel another mission in the northern Gaza Strip due to hazardous conditions and the absence of required permissions. He added that there are no fully operational medical facilities in the northern enclave.

X suspends pro-Palestinian activists

The users in question were suspended for violating X rules, but no exact answer was given as to what rules were violated

On Tuesday, social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, suspended several pro-Palestinian and left-leaning accounts and journalists calling for the end of the Israeli genocide in Gaza.

The users had been suspended for violating X's rules, although said rules were not mentioned or expanded on. X later restored the accounts but is yet to clarify the terms under which suspension was viable.

What's the common factor?

Alan MacLeod, senior staff writer for Mint Press News and major pro-Palestinian activist, took to Instagram to share his X account's suspension.

“Today, without warning or explanation, Twitter suspended my account, @AlanRMacLeod. They told me to check my email for a reason, but no email has been forthcoming,” he wrote, adding “I have never even remotely been involved in any controversy/been reported/been stuck in Twitter jail before, so I assume the real reason is political, especially as high-profile leftists accounts like Rob Rousseau and Zei_Squirrel were also targeted today.”
Both accounts mentioned in Alan's statement have a substantial number of followers and use their platforms for political critique and education on Western imperialism.

Zei_Squirrel shared a statement on a different platform, saying “Elon Musk’s Twitter just banned me, without giving any reason. I didn’t get any post that was flagged, no infraction, no warning, nothing. So, I suspect it is because I have been exposing the propaganda of the genocidal Israeli regime and its supporters, including recently Bill Ackman.”

The account of the Texas Observer’s Special Investigative Correspondent, Steven Monacelli, was also suspended in X's campaign. “I haven’t received any communications from Twitter/X about why I have been suspended. I have made posts critical of Israel’s targeting of civilians and journalists, and have shared news about pro-Palestinian protests, but I have also recently made posts and shared news debunking antisemitism disguised as criticism of Israel,” Monacelli said on the matter.

Refusal of Israeli crimes in Gaza

The common factor between all these accounts is the outright refusal of the occupation's war tactics in Gaza, which are tantamount to genocide and ethnic cleansing.

Analyzing the matter, World Socialist Web said that it is suspicious how left-leaning social media activists have been suspended by a platform owned by Elon Musk who has not shied away from sharing "fascistic rantings".

However, there are no clear indications that show Musk's intentional and personal suspension of the pro-Palestinian lot.

Musk shared a statement saying “I will investigate. Obviously, it is ok to be critical of anything, but it is not ok to call for extreme violence, as that is illegal.” Musk then added, “For the record, I do not personally agree with your views. Nonetheless, the point of freedom of speech is allowing those whose views you disagree with to express those views.”

Media censorship

Similar precedents include Instagram censorship as well. On Christmas Eve, Instagram permanently terminated activist Shaun King's account, which was dedicated to exposing Israeli war crimes in Gaza. Instagram also employs media censorship by hiding posts under the pretense of promoting "violent speech".

For example, actress Susan Sarandon posted a picture of billboards saying: “Stop the Bombs! Workers Demand Peace and Justice for Palestine! Ceasefire Now!”, which was later flagged by Instagram for violating its code of conduct under "violent speech".

Human Rights Watch (HRW) issued a report earlier in December titled "Meta's Broken Promises: Systemic Censorship of Palestine Content on Instagram and Facebook," which reveals how moderation rules and algorithms have progressively repressed voices in support of Palestine on Instagram and Facebook and suppressed protected speech, including nonviolent communication in favor of Palestine and public discussion about Palestinian human rights.

HRW investigated 1,050 instances of online restriction from more than 60 nations where 6 patterns of censorship were identified, each happening at least 100 times.

The incidents are consistent with years of research and campaigning by Palestinian, regional, and international human rights organizations, showing Meta's filtering of Palestinian-supporting content.

These patterns include content removals, account suspension or deletion, inability to engage with content, inability to follow or tag accounts, restrictions on the use of features, such as Instagram/Facebook Live, and "shadow banning", which refers to a significant reduction in the visibility of an individual's posts, stories, or account without notification.

Also, Meta used its "Dangerous Organizations and Individuals" (DOI) policy in hundreds of documented incidents, which fully includes the United States-recognized lists of "terrorist organizations". Meta has invoked these lists and used them broadly to limit the legal expression of pro-Palestine voices.

Israel sentencing 800,000 to death

Gaza's physicians continue to see cases on a daily basis that prove that "Israel" is using internationally-banned weapons

Ashraf Al-Qudra, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, announced in an interview with Al Mayadeen today, that the Israeli occupation is sentencing 800,000 people to death in the northern Gaza Strip as a result of the ongoing Israeli bombing, amid a collapsing health sector and absence of medical aid.

He stated that the cases being seen by the medical team are a direct result of the occupation's use of internationally banned non-conventional weapons.

In the northern Gaza strip, six Palestinians were killed and several others were injured by bullets from IOF troops stationed on the coastal road in the southwest of Gaza.

As a result of the occupation targeting a house belonging to the Asalia family in the town of Jabalia, several Palestinians were martyred and others injured.

A massacre

Israeli gunboats also fired dozens of rocket shells toward residents in the west of Gaza and Israeli warplanes bombed a house in Deir al-Balah camp.

Al-Bureij and al-Maghazi camps were bombed by the occupation artillery leading to the death martyrdom of at least 20 Palestinians majority of whom are children, women, and elderly.

In the south, 15 Palestinians were martyred and dozens injured due to the Israeli warplanes bombing with a missile at a house belonging to the Nofal family.

Yesterday the Ministry of Health in Gaza revealed that during the past 24 hours, the Israeli war machine executed 12 massacres, killing 126 martyrs and injuring 241 Palestinians. Several victims are still buried beneath the rubble and others were left in the streets as medical rescue teams failed to reach the required locations.

Latest death toll in Gaza is 23,084, number of wounded 58,926

US, UK aggression on Yemen

The Yemeni SABA news agency in Sanaa says the American-Israeli-British aggression launched multiple airstrikes on the capital Sanaa and the provinces of Hodeidah, Saada, and Dhamar

A US official told CNN on Friday that the US military has launched strikes against multiple targets in Yemen, adding that "the strikes were from fighter jets and Tomahawk missiles."

The Yemeni SABA news agency in Sanaa also reported that the American-Israeli-British aggression launched multiple airstrikes on the capital Sanaa and the provinces of Hodeidah, Saada, and Dhamar.

Al Mayadeen Correspondent reported that The US-British aggression targeted the vicinity of Al-Hudaydah Airport and areas in Zabid District in the same coastal governorate on the Red Sea in Western Yemen.

Our correspondent added that the raids targeted Kahlan camp, east of the city of Saada, in northern Yemen.

The Pentagon has announced that the US aggression has targeted 12 sites in Yemen and was conducted by warplanes, cruise missiles, and submarines
Politico cited an official from the US Department of Defense as saying that the US and the UK, with support from Australia, the Netherlands, Bahrain, and Canada, carried out strikes against targets in Yemen.

The New York Times on the other hand reported that the Netherlands, Australia, Canada, and Bahrain provided logistical, intelligence, and other forms of support to the aggression.

Earlier reports regarding imminent strikes

Earlier, Deputy Head of the Moral Guidance Department in the Yemeni Ministry of Defense in the Sanaa government, Brigadier Abdullah ben Amer, affirmed that there are significant preparations to confront the anticipated US-British aggression on Yemen.

This comes amid media reports that the US and the UK are mulling possible strikes against the Yemeni forces in an attempt to curb their operations in the Red and the Arabian seas against Israeli and Israeli-bound ships, The Financial Times reported, citing informed sources.

The report mentioned that British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was expected to authorize strikes on Thursday as part of a US-led coalition and even convened an urgent call of his cabinet at 7:45 p.m. GMT following a meeting of the National Security Council
On X, Ben Amer stressed that "readiness has been underway for several days" in Sanaa, pointing out that opening the airspace to US and British warplanes for attacking Yemen is "clear participation in the assault and direct involvement in the aggression."

He also urged Yemenis to take part in protests on Friday and pay no attention to what some hostile sides have started to spread, such as talk of collapses, confusion, and "other foolish and naive lies."

Ben Amer revealed that US reconnaissance aircraft are flying at the moment south of the Red Sea.

On his part, Fadel Abu Taleb, a member of the Political Bureau of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, underlined that the Yemeni people are fully prepared and completely ready to engage in any battle or confrontation with the enemies, no matter its intensity, until achieving victory for both the Palestinian and Yemeni peoples.

Abu Taleb said that the United States and the US claim that targeting the Yemeni people is part of supporting the Zionist entity, while the Yemeni people assert that their military operations at sea are in the context of supporting the Palestinian people and backing the Resistance.

According to Israeli media reports, in the United States, the Pentagon held urgent security consultations, highlighting that expanding the confrontation in the Middle East into a comprehensive one is one of the important topics being discussed.

Israeli media mentioned that weapon and missile storage facilities and drones will be attacked as part of the planned attack from Washington and London against Sanaa. Western sources were cited as saying that the selected targets would be limited in order to avoid expanding the scope of the confrontation.

US and UK have limited options
(Other than to support ships taking supplies to the murderous Israelis)

President Biden has said he won’t hesitate to take further military action if necessary. But the US has also made clear that it does not want to see a widening conflict in the Middle East. That suggests that any future US-led military action, if necessary, would again be limited.

Airstrikes and long range cruise missiles are the least risky and costly for the US President in an election year.

Remember the US has also been using limited airstrikes to target other Iranian backed groups in Iraq and Syria in recent months. But at best it’s a deterrent. It will not eliminate the threat.

The strikes last night might also have degraded and destroyed some of the Houthis' ability to launch attacks on shipping in the Red Sea.

But the Houthis have survived much worse – including years of being targeted by the Saudi Air Force.

In public at least they remain defiant. They still have the capacity to launch further attacks. The only real option left for the US and UK is then doing more of the same – targeting from a distance.
..........................................................
Russia says strikes are 'illegitimate'

We've just heard from a Kremlin spokesman condemning the US and UK strikes in Yemen

"From the point of view of international law, they are illegitimate," says Dmitry Peskov.

Peskov also says that the Kremlin has repeatedly urged the Houthis to cease attacks on shipping.

Russia, which has been criticised for what the West says is an illegal war in Ukraine, says the attack on Yemen took place without any mandate from the United Nations and was an illegal "adventure" by the US and its allies
As we reported earlier, the Kremlin is also calling for an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council on Friday.

Russia is a close ally of Iran, which arms, trains and supports the Houthis.

Russia and China abstained on Wednesday from a UN Security Council resolution that demanded the Houthis immediately cease their attacks on shipping and noted the right of UN member states to "defend their vessels from attack".

Shipping firms welcome measures to improve Red Sea security

Shipping firms are responding to strikes by UK and US aircraft on Houthi positions.

A spokesperson for the German company Hapag Lloyd says they "welcome measures that make the passage through the Red Sea safe again", according to Reuters.

Danish shipping giant Maersk says it hopes increased security will lead to maritime commerce to transit through the Red Sea again, quoted by Reuters.

Earlier, Maersk told the BBC that "significant disruption" to global trade was already being felt "down to the end consumer".

Prior to the military strikes, Maersk chief executive Vincent Clerc had called for a "stronger mobilisation" to repel the attacks, which he said would lead to higher prices for customers.

As far as I have been able to ascertain, the only ships attacked are those taking supplies to Israel, and for the safety of Palestinians ALL such ships taking supplies to the murdering Israelis SHOULD be BLOCKED

UK, US interests legitimate targets

UK and US presence in the Red Sea violates International Law, and the Republic of Yemen is responsible for dealing with it appropriately

The Yemeni Supreme Political Council of the Sanaa government issued a statement on the joint US-UK overnight aggression against Yemen warning of imminent retaliation.

"What the country has been subjected to is an unjustified and illegitimate American-British aggression, which violates all international laws," the statement's opening statement read.

"All American and British interests have become legitimate targets for the Yemeni Armed Forces in response to their direct and announced aggression against the Yemeni Republic," the Supreme Political Council warned.

"The aggression on Yemen is an extension of the treacherous American targeting of the Yemeni Naval Forces and the American-British-Zionist aggression on the people of Gaza. The American-British aggression is a real threat to international peace and security, putting the region at grave stakes."
"The presence of American and British forces, and those allied to them, under false pretexts in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab [strait] is rejected and violates all laws. This presence [of the US and UK in the Red Sea] is a threat to international navigation, and it's the duty of the Yemeni Republic to deal with it the way it sees fit."

"We affirm the commitment of the Yemeni Republic to what was declared at the beginning of its naval operation to end the blockade, stop the aggression, end the genocidal war on Gaza, and allow the entry of food, medicine, fuel, and all means of life."

In an interview for Al Mayadeen Net, Yemeni military expert Aabed al-Thawr said the aggression has not achieved any accomplishments, and targeting these areas has no real impact, explaining that these locations were originally destroyed during the war waged by the Saudi coalition for nearly 9 years.

Al-Thawr noted that the aggression targeted overt military sites, expressing surprise that the aggressors would actually think that the Yemeni Armed Forces had resumed using them so shortly after the war with Saudi Arabia. Al-Thawr added that the Armed Forces have fortified and secret military sites for conducting their military operations.

One of the military bases targeted by the aggression, according to al-Thawr, is the Delmi base. He said that it is currently used for civilian aviation, not military purposes, noting that the Saudi coalition had formerly launched several attacks against it and failed to completely destroy it.

As for Hodeidah Airport, which was also targeted in the overnight aggression, the military expert confirmed to Al Mayadeen Net that it was already destroyed, and the Saudi coalition had booby-trapped the area around it.

Al-Houri considered this aggression an extension of the attacks on the naval forces and an extension of the aggression on Gaza. He emphasized that the Yemeni armed forces have their own methods of confrontation, and these strikes will not affect them militarily or morally. Yemen has faced greater challenges and triumphed over them, according to al-Houri.

Israel-bound ship was targeted

Yemeni Armed Forces remain steadfast in enforcing a blockade against Israeli navigation in the Red Sea despite US-UK aggression

Yemeni armed forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced in a recent statement, that Yemen has targeted a ship headed to "Israel" after it ignored warning calls to turn back.

This operation serves as evidence of the Yemeni Armed Forces' persistence top maintain the blockade against Israeli navigation in the Arabian and Red Seas despite last week's US-UK aggression aimed at deterring them
"Triumphing the oppressed Palestinian people [of Gaza] who are subjected to aggression and siege, the naval forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted the ship Zogravia, which was headed to the ports of occupied Palestine, with several adequate missiles: leaving direct hits," Brigadier General Saree opened up his statement.

The Yemeni Armed Forces had deliberated on striking the vessel after the crew had repeatedly ignored their calls and warning messages, Saree specified.

The Yemeni Armed Forces remain steadfast in executing their military operations to block Israeli navigation in the Arab and Red Seas until a ceasefire is achieved in Gaza and the siege on the Palestinian people is lifted, he added.

"The Yemeni Armed Forces continue to take all defensive and offensive measures within the scope of their legitimate right to defend Yemen and in affirmation of continued practical solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people," Saree ended his statement.

Yemeni Forces strike Greek-owned carrier heading to occupied Palestine

Earlier today, The Telegraph reported that the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted a Greek-owned vessel headed to the ports of occupied Palestine.

The bulk ship Zogravia was on its way north to the Suez Canal when it was hit, according to the Greek Shipping and Island Policy Ministry.

In November, the Yemeni resistance announced its decision to target all Israeli-linked commercial and military ships transiting the Red Sea, or ships heading to the ports of occupied Palestine
They vowed to continue to do so until the genocide on the people of Gaza came to a complete halt.

Germany to send Israelis shells

The intended military support to "Israel" puts extra strain on the German arsenal as they already face an armament gap following the massive weapons export to "Israel"

The German Der Spiegel magazine reported on Tuesday that the German government is considering delivering tank shells to "Israel" to support its genocidal war against Gaza
The magazine stated in a report that "Berlin received a request to supply ["Israel" with] about 10,000 precision shells of 120mm caliber to the Israeli army in November last year," adding that "the relevant authorities have already approved the request preliminary."

The magazine adds that Berlin is considering supplying the IOF from the stocks of the German army to respond to the request urgently: The military industry cannot provide the required amount of precision ammunition immediately.

In November last year, a source in the German government told Reuters that "approvals for arms exports to Israel in 2023 have increased about 10 times compared to 2022," indicating Berlin's prioritization of arms exports to "Israel" since the onset of the aggression against Gaza.

The government approved the export of $323 million worth of military equipment to "Israel" starting on November 2nd last year, compared to only $35 million worth of military equipment in 2022.

According to the German news agency that published these figures, Germany "primarily supplies Israel with components of air defense systems and communication equipment."

The export permits were granted during the days of the ongoing war between the Israeli occupation and Palestinian resistance since October 7th last year.

Additionally, following Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, the source stated that the federal government gave priority to approving requests for the export of military equipment to "Israel."

It is worth noting that this German military support for "Israel" comes at a time when the German army is facing an armament gap following the export of weapons to Ukraine, putting serious strain on the weapon stocks, according to German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.

German arms exports to 'Israel' increased tenfold in 2023

Compared to the same period in 2022, Germany has boosted its arms shipments to "Israel" by about ten times since the beginning of the year.

The majority of the sales were approved after October 7, according to a report published on Wednesday by German television Tagesschau, which cited the Economy Ministry.

The broadcaster quoted the Ministry as saying, in response to a request submitted by Tagesschau's parent company, the ARD media group, that as of November 2, the German government permitted weaponry exports worth 303 million euros ($324 million), a tenfold increase compared with 2022.

Early in October, the German Economy Ministry said that with 3.3 billion euros in authorized shipments, Ukraine led the list of countries receiving Germany's military exports, followed by the United States (466 million euros) and Hungary (1.03 billion euros).

German authorities have funded Israeli crimes against Gaza, which have killed 24,285 Palestinians so far

+80 Killed in New Wave of Bombings

On Wednesday, official sources reported that more than 80 Palestinians were killed and dozens wounded in the last hours during Israeli bombardments against several areas in the Gaza Strip, under fire for 103 days

Health officials in the territory said that civil defense and ambulance teams recovered 25 bodies after air strikes on the Gaza City neighborhood of Al-Daraj.

The air raids caused another seven fatalities in the southern city of Khan Yunis, the official Wafa news agency said.

“Israeli artillery struck the neighborhoods of Al-Manara and Batn Al-Sameen, as well as the center and south of Khan Younis, in addition to the eastern part of the Jabalia refugee camp,” it added.

Meanwhile, a woman and her child were killed in an Israeli raid on a group of citizens in the Assassin area, west of the southern city of Rafah, where hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who fled the fighting in the north and center of the enclave are concentrated.

Many casualties remain under rubble and on roads, and are inaccessible to ambulances and civil defense teams
For the sixth consecutive day, the total disruption of telecommunications and Internet services in the Strip due to the bombs continues.

According to official data, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 24,285 people have lost their lives in the territory and another 61,154 have been wounded

There can be no Palestinian state

Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed the United States today of his opposition to the establishment of a Palestinian state as part of any post-war scenario, as announced in a press conference on Thursday

AP reported that Netanyahu's statement highlights the deep divisions between close allies, after three months of Israeli aggression against Gaza.

The United States, AP recalled, had previously announced that "the establishment of a Palestinian state should be part of the day after the war."

Netanyahu said that "Israel", in any future arrangement, needs to control all the lands west of the Jordan River, which contradicts the idea of establishing a Palestinian state: explaining that a Prime Minister of Israel "must be able to say no to our friends".

“Ending the war before all of our goals have been achieved will damage Israel's security for generations. Today we are working to ensure security for future generations, and stopping the war [now] will send a signal of weakness that will only embolden our enemies, and the next massacre will only be a matter of time,” Netanyahu said at the press conference: adding that the fighting will continue until a “complete victory” over Hamas.

After Netanyahu's statement, the White House reiterated its announcement that"there will be a post-conflict Gaza, and it will not be reoccupied," adding that the "US will not cease working towards achieving a two-state solution."

Netanyahu putting cabinet before 'Israel', media say on West Bank

The Israeli occupation sees that the occupied West Bank is "on the brink of implosion," Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported on Tuesday amid heightened tensions and warning from the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and the Shin Bet about escalations in the West Bank.

The Israeli newspaper underlined that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu prefers to jeopardize "Israel" rather than his government, which relies on expansionism and far-right supremacy, which it added could be concluded from Netanyahu repeatedly ignoring warnings issued by the IOF and various Israeli intelligence regarding his actions.

The report cited the double operation that took place in "Ra'anana", "Tel Aviv", killing at least one settler and injuring 20 others, saying it was an indication of an upcoming wave of similar operations.

The deterioration of security in the occupied West Bank and the probability of opening up another front in the war would constitute a huge threat to the Israeli occupation, Haaretz added.

It is "terrifying", it said, the fact that the cabinet was only exacerbating the situation by further stifling the Palestinian people economically, constantly issuing inflammatory statements against the Palestinian Authority, permitting settlers to bear arms, and continuing to kick Palestinians off Palestinian soil.

The report underlined that Netanyahu and his government were fully aware of the repercussions of ending the security coordination with the Palestinian Authority; however, they would rather make a gamble while the IOF are occupied with fighting in Gaza and the north.

Netanyahu's cabinet, it said, must free the West Bank from its economic stranglehold, as well as rein in settlers and safeguard the existing security coordination with the PA, though the author underlined that these steps would not be enough.

To solve the complex issues it is facing, the Israeli occupation requires a political solution, and it will have to part ways with Netanyahu, who has completely failed in his capacity, Haaretz concluded.

Death toll 24,620 and injured rose to 61,830

Israel violently bombs Khan Younis

Palestinians were martyred by Israeli airstrikes on Khan Younis in southern Gaza when Israeli aircraft executed attacks on Sunday dawn, marking the 107th day of the genocide

Medical sources explained that occupation warplanes targeted the al-Amal neighborhood, west of Khan Younis, killing several civilians and wounding dozens.

The occupation's artillery shelling continued targeting the vicinity of Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, while warboats bombarded the coastal areas of the cities of Deir al-Balah and Khan Younis.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported that the occupation forces also fired smoke bombs and artillery shells on the al-Manara neighborhood, southeast of Khan Younis.

Warplanes also bombed the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, resulting in a major fire in one of the homes and factories near the target location, and also struck a house in the al-Shati camp, west of Gaza.

In Rafah, by the Egyptian border, Israeli warplanes launched violent fire belts surrounding the Gaza European Hospital. The death toll for Palestinians in Gaza as a result of Israeli strikes is inching closer to 25,000 martyrs, with 62,388 individuals sustaining injuries.
In Gaza, two mothers are killed per hour

The Gazan death toll mostly consists of women and children, as "Israel" continues targeting defenseless civilians
According to a UN Women study issued on Friday, the Israeli occupation is killing two mothers every hour in Gaza since it began its aggression on October 7.

UN Women Executive Director Sima Bahous reported evidence that 70% of the victims in Gaza are women and children.

"These are people, not numbers, and we are failing them. That failure, and the generational trauma inflicted on the Palestinian people over these 100 days and counting, will haunt us all for generations to come," Bahous explained.

The research noted at least 3,000 women may have become widows and at least 10,000 children have lost their fathers.

Bahous added that the agency continues to call for an immediate ceasefire to ensure that "women and girls in Gaza receive the humanitarian assistance they need, including safety and protection, immediately and unimpeded."

    25,105 Slaughtered
    62,681 Injured
How many will die from their injuries and infections?
    Thousands trapped beneath rubble
How many of the already dead?
How many slowly dying in agony?
On the 107th day of the Israeli genocidal war against the Palestinian people of the Gaza Strip, thousands of people remain trapped beneath the rubble or across streets inaccessible to civilians, ambulances, or civil defense teams.

IOF destroyed mosques and cemeteries

In a statement released on Sunday, the Palestinian Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in Gaza reported that Israeli forces have so far destroyed over 1,000 mosques and desecrated dozens of cemeteries in their ongoing genocidal aggression

The Ministry reports that since October 7, more than 1,000 out of 1,200 mosques have been razed, with an estimated reconstruction cost of $500 million.

The ministry further lamented the destruction of churches, including the historic Saint Porphyrius Greek Orthodox Church, Zakat religious committees, Quran-teaching schools, and the headquarters of the Islamic Endowment Bank.

The report adds that the invading IOF have killed more than 100 religious figures: scholars, preachers, imams, and Muezzins (who perform the daily call for prayers) since the beginning of the military onslaught
Additionally, the statement detailed that the Israeli Occupation Forces' desecration and destruction of dozens of cemeteries amounts to a violation of international laws.

During their desecration of the cemeteries, the IOF also violated bodies buried in graves, and the destruction of burial grounds was carried out in clear violation of established norms.

IOF destroys 1400-year-old al-Omari Mosque

Back in December, The al-Omari Mosque, which was built more than 1400 years ago, one of the largest and oldest mosques in Gaza, and the third-largest mosque in Palestine, was destroyed in an Israeli airstrike.

Gazans refer to al-Omari as the "Little al-Aqsa Mosque" due to its resemblance to the Holy al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied al-Quds.

The al-Omari Mosque covers an area of about 4100 square meters, and its courtyard extends to 1190 square meters, with the building including about 38 marble columns adorned with artistic patterns from different eras.

IOF destroys 1600-year-old St. Porphyrius church

Back in October, the IOF also targeted the ancient Greek Orthodox church of St. Porphyrius, which was sheltering dozens of displaced families and asylum seekers.

The targeting of the church came shortly after the massacre committed in the Baptist Al-Ahli Hospital in central Gaza, killing over 500.

Massive March in Brussels for Gaza Ceasefire

On Sunday, nearly 9,000 people participated in a march in Brussels, demanding concrete measures from Belgium to establish an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and ensure justice for the Palestinian people

As the current president of the Council of the European Union (EU), Belgium is called upon to play a central role in promoting a fair solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

On Monday, the European Union Foreign Affairs Council will discuss the situation in the Middle East in Brussels. The 27 EU foreign ministers will meet with Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz before separate talks with Riyad al-Maliki, the top diplomat of the Palestinian Authority.

The Sunday march was initiated by a coalition of Belgian civil society organizations, which warned against any promotion of war crimes, attacks on civilians, anti-Semitism, or racism.

Over the past three months, Israeli occupation forces have murdered over 24,000 Palestinians, most of whom were women, children, and the elderly. Nearly 1.9 million people have been forcibly displaced, and a significant portion of civil infrastructure has been completely destroyed.
"Belgium officially announced its support for South Africa’s genocide case against Israeli aggression on Gaza filed with the International Court of Justice. Caroline Gennez, the development cooperation minister, voiced the country’s official decision across social media," TMJ News Network reported.
