womanizer wrote:I may have misunderstood from your sentence, but mixing Kurds with Iranian or Middle eastern is kind Iranic paranoia.
So Kurds are not Iranian, Kurdistan even with its geopgrapgic and racial can not be considered as middleast, kurdistan is brigde in between middleast and European and will have close conection with caces countries(such as Georgia, Armenia Ukraine..etc).
Again those restaurant owners, they may have come from eastern Kurdistan(Iranian occupied part of Kurdistan) and may have Persian restaurant, is like Chinese owing Japanese restaurant ..something like that.

By Iranian I meant people from the country of Iran. Kurds, Baloch, Persians, Azeris, Mazandaranis, Qashqai, etc. all live in Iran, thus, they are Iranian.

Just like Italians, Mexicans, Irish, Germans, Polish, etc live in the United States and are American.

That is worrying.. We need more educated and not just high school - I am talking Colleges and Universitites...

I agree with you Diri, as I have already said here in Italy
ue_kurdophile wrote:most of Kurds don't have a very high education, so if they want to make up money, they have to choose food as a business, it is nearly their only chance. "

But (at least here, can't speak for the rest of Europe) it is not that easy for them...economically I mean and there is no easy way to solve out this problem. :(
Moreover, some of them come from uneducated/low-educated families and therefore in general don't recognize the importance of getting a higher education (I had so many discussions in the past about it!).
Any idea of a solution?

1)

Have you noticed? Maybe it's just Norway - but 99% of Italian Pizza/Pasta etc. restaurants are owned and run by Kurds... Why is that?

I find it very peculiar...

2) Have you noticed? Maybe it's just Norway - but when Kurds start a buisness, it's always food...
My friend has his own garage business in Iraq, but has now set up a building and decorating business. So, there's one Kurd who hasn't done food.

What smells?

And what is your intention with the word: Iranian?

Because you should say "Persian" if you mean Persians...
Not Iranian...

Iranian = Citizen of Iran...

Oh yes run away from the evil evil Persians. They truly are the devil

And if you're referring to me I'm not Persian. I'm Iranian though and proud to be.

Actually Agent007 - Parsi is half Kurdish and half Azeri... He is for an independent Kurdistan - and he is fair...

He is not a Persian - but an Iranian... Because he's not culturally, nor ethnicly Persian...

I didn't understand much of that...

But as he said - don't bother being offended on his behalf... He is very proud to be a Kurd, an Azeri but also an Iranian...

And Kurds are Iranic (Aryan) by linguistics... Our language is related to Persian as it is related to Baloch and Bakhtiyari... So let's not deny facts...
